Position Overview: The Finance Director will partner with the CFO to set the financial strategy and vision for the company. S/he is an expert in financial analytics who will provide leadership over all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and continuous budgeting. This individual will ensure alignment between the strategic plan and annual business plans. Additionally, they will have significant cash management oversight and will serve as the co-owner of the company's ERP system - Deltek VantagePoint. Primary Responsibilities: Monitors budget objectives, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions Partners with senior leadership to build a comprehensive business plan that supports the organization's strategic plans Serves as lead interpreter of key performance indicators at both the Business Line and Enterprise-Wide levels Provides guidance on ad hoc reporting request across all Business Lines Facilitates the mid-year reforecast process along with other continuous budgeting initiatives Serves as functional co-owner of the ERP system (Deltek VantagePoint) Partners with the Operations Finance Manager to facilitate project financial reviews across the company Lead cash management efforts Facilitate bank compliance reporting Reviewer of bi-weekly payroll prior to submission Coordinate tax matters and their ensuing resolution with the company's external accountants External report responsibilities include: Board, lenders, investors, and shareholders Provide leadership and mentorship over the accounting and finance team They will maintain other responsibilities over enterprise risk management, including building and maintaining a business risk register. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required A minimum of 15 years' experience in accounting, finance, economics, and/or business administration Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred A commitment to financial and operational innovation Proficiency across the Finance tech stack Excellent management and supervisory skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Strong knowledge of GAAP Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) preferred. Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision experience preferred. A&E industry experience preferred.
