TEKsystems End User Computing Specialist (MDM) in Columbus, Ohio

Role - MDM Engineer (Intune or Workspace One)

Workplace Location - Hybrid - Columbus, Ohio

Terms - w2 hourly contract

Hourly Pay Range - 48.07 - 54.80

Duration - 9 months +

Scope of Position: Provide advanced identification, remediation, and root cause analysis for the End User Compute (EUC) environment at the medical center. Support includes endpoints and mobile device technologies.

Position Summary:

  • Engineer, build, install, configure, operate, maintain, and support endpoint devices and systems.

  • Provide advanced technical support for end user devices (e.g., mobile devices, printers, USB peripherals).

  • Identify opportunities to transition support tasks to first and second level support.

  • Plan, engineer, research, and evaluate new technology integration and systems development.

  • Address security issues, application packaging, and generate support/customer documentation.

  • Guide junior engineers and administrators.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Engineering (40%):

  • Build and configure hardware/software for the endpoint environment.

  • Plan and evaluate technologies, recommend resources, and improve system performance.

  • Design, implement, and document system software, hardware, and network connectivity.

  • Consult with departments to determine requirements and develop system specifications.

  • Provide technical guidance on endpoint operating systems, hardware, and networking.

    Support, Maintenance, and Projects (50%):

    Support:

  • Resolve complex customer issues in end user compute support.

  • Provide advanced technical support and guidance.

  • Package, build, and deploy applications to the endpoint environment.

  • Oversee vendor-supported equipment service coordination.

    Maintenance:

  • Maintain accurate asset records and assist in training support engineers.

  • Plan and upgrade operating systems software.

  • Adhere to departmental processes (e.g., change management, incident management).

    Projects:

  • Participate in EUC-related projects.

  • Evaluate and research new products and procedures.

  • Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Act as an EUC subject matter expert for Medical Center projects.

    Other (10%):

  • Perform additional duties as required.
