As a DevOps Deployment Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the on boarding of applications into the DevOps practices, ensuring the integration of operational procedures with the industry best practices. The candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining CI/CD processes, auditing operations, monthly/enterprise releases and implementing strategic improvements to promote a “shift left” mindset. This role requires a strong technical and management skills to drive the adaption of automation and efficiency across the SDLC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end on-boarding process for applications into the DevOps practices

• Execute application software build & deployments supporting all DevOps onboarded applications

• Develop & maintain scripts to automate existing manual build & deployment procedures

• Manage a team of DevOps engineers, both on-site and offshore to support enterprise/monthly releases, tools administration and automation

• Conduct operational audit to ensure compliance with established change management standards and identify areas of improvement

• Develop and implement strategic improvements to optimize CI/CD processes focusing on early problem identification resolution (ship lift)

• Align the practices/tools with industry best practices, enhance the effectiveness of the development lifecycle

• Collaborate with the cross-functioning teams to effective integration with the overall SDLC process

• Create and maintain documentation related to risk controls and audit outcomes

• Ensure continues improvement through automation, monitoring, and analysis of pipeline

• Provide mentorship, and guidance to team members on the principles and best practices

• Familiarity with Agile development practices

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, application deployment, or related roles.

• 5+ years of Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, UrbanCode)

• 3+ years of Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platform (OpenShift)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.

• Experience with the configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet,

• Experience with code scanning solutions such as SNYK

• Experience with developing scripts to integrate with ServiceNow and Splunk via APIs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Professional certifications in technology and/or risk management are a plus

• Experience with application build tools such as Docker, Podman, NPM, NodeJS, MSBuild, Maven

• Experience with the mobile build and deployment process for both iOS and Android based application

• Knowledge on mainframe automation using ChangeMan

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools

• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Maven, Terraform, PowerShell)

• Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance within a DevOps environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
