Description:
Database Coordinator for the Foundation
Position Purpose:
The Database Coordinator supports the financial and data processing systems of the Foundation. Accounts for gifts received and gift coding to ensure all donations are properly recorded to meet donor intent. Maintains the quality and accuracy of the donor database. Responsible for report generation, accurate financials for audits and procedure documentation.
Responsible for weekly deposit
Accounts for gift deposits and tracking to ensure documentation is correct for audits and monthly close process.
Processes and records gifts through the CRM system to meet the intent of the donor.
Processes Trinity and MCHS payroll deductions, payroll imports, and donor maintenance using lists of terminated colleagues.
Responsible for the monthly Finance close process which includes daily summary reports, close reports, site donation reporting and ensuring all accounts balance.
Maintains the quality and accuracy of the donor database which includes revenue and biographical information and information
Consolidates information from the database and prepares for fundraising appeals.
Executes queries, runs reports, exports data and uploads files.
Maintains all source documents and pertinent hard copy material on gift data. When off-site storage is necessary, arranges and controls activity to ensure confidentiality and accessibility
Requirements:
* Associate's degree in business or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and report writing software.
Experience with fundraising software preferred
Understanding of accounting/bookkeeping
Able to work independently
Ability to analyze data and compose reports
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality of documents and donor information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
This is a hybrid role.
