Wolters Kluwer Account & Relationship Associate Director - Government in Columbus, Ohio

The Account & Relationship Associate Director – Government is both a people manager as well as contributor responsible for accelerating our federal government business. This individual will lead our government sales team in both the renewal of existing contracts as well as driving new sales of Wolters Kluwer CE products. The federal healthcare market includes but is not limited to customers such as the Defense Health Agency (Air Force, Army, Navy), Veterans Health Administration, Health and Human Services, Indian Health Services, and Bureau of Prisons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Territory Strategy Development

  • Territory Strategy Execution

  • Direct and Coach Field Personnel

  • Hire and Develop Team

  • Customer Development

  • Sales Process Improvement

  • Administration and Field Intelligence

Job Qualifications :

Education : BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

Experience :

  • 10+ years of sales experience, including time in a senior sales or sales management role, coaching, mentoring, others, prior management experience preferred

  • Ability to construct, present and execute a federal government sales strategy plan

  • A strong understanding of the federal government space, minimum of 5+ year preferred

  • Demonstrated ability for talent identification, team management, coaching, and conflict resolution

  • Aptitude for navigating and guiding team through sales process in a matrixed organization

  • Proven track record of success in building relationships, presenting and influencing c-suite level customers

Travel Requirements : Ability to travel overnight up to 50%

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, NY, WA:: $143,000-$202,400
