The Sherwin-Williams Company 2025 Supply Chain Summer Internship - Columbus, OH in Columbus, Ohio
The Supply Chain Intern is "hosted" by the Supply Chain Department at one of our manufacturing/distribution facilities. This is a 12-week summer internship. Please note that we do not provide housing. This Internship begins on May 19, 2025. Interns will report to the Columbus, OH Plant. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Supply Chain Team with: *Planning and purchase of raw and packaging components *Production scheduling *Resolving invoice discrepancies *Administrative activities *Special projects as identified by the Supply Chain Manager Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Must be currently enrolled inan accredited four-year college or university at the time of the internship Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 Must have at least one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook) Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week, up to 12 weeks. Preferred Qualifications: Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing/Procurement or related majors Sophomore, junior or senior class standing Previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field Previous experience as a Sherwin-Williams Intern or Co-op Previous internship or co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc. Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
