MDOT District 1 Infrastructure Maintenance Tech I & II (Lowndes) in Columbus, Mississippi
First or second level vocational position accountable for technical work involving the least complex equipment operation and maintenance. Employee may also be responsible for repairing traffic signals, installing and maintaining signs, applying herbicide, pesticide, snow and ice chemicals, striping, traffic control, pothole patching, and responding to natural and man-made disasters.
CDL is needed, or willing to obtain.
Equipment operation and maintenance a plus
Schedule is 10 hour days, 4 days a week.
