DESCRIPTION

Develop and implement differentiated marketing strategies for global, regional and local customers. Work with cross-functional teams including key account managers, product manager and regional sales team members to develop overall business strategy to ensure sound 4P strategy to meet and exceed segment growth strategy for product initiatives. Develop product portfolio roadmap accounting for customer needs and business constraints. Communicate and align complex product strategy directions to cross-functional stakeholders. Ensure proper execution of Value Package Profile (VPP) in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and drive clear agreement on (VPP). Use knowledge of market price to cost target of the product ensuring proper product and business margin. Define pricing strategies using Price Segmentation and Price Elasticity of Demand Analysis for large global contracts. Leverage financial data sorting and organization to understand product specification-based pricing tiers. Utilize advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and financial data to communicate complicated pricing recommendations with leadership to gain alignment. Identify barriers to success, develop solutions and implement medium-term and annual marketing plans. Utilize Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis to monitor ongoing market research to understand market trends, potential and product applications in target markets. Use statistical analysis and market research to inform of business decisions and priorities. Leverage statistical sampling methods on quote data to understand vertical sub-segmentation. Apply principles of gap analysis and inference by collecting data through communication with stakeholders, benchmarking, or other methods to compare and contrast gaps between the current state and desired state. Work closely with channel development and distribution to ensure business alignment between the segment and distribution globally. Lead efforts for value package marketing activities to create a comparative advantage and meet profitability goals. Leverage the competencies in the global marketing team and represent product line in global marketing initiatives. Translate the global brand strategy for the products globally and integrate Voice of the Customer into marketing plans. Manage marketing and sales systems and processes including the customer satisfaction measurement process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Positions require a Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Marketing or Product Specialist or Analyst or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Marketing or Product Specialist or Analyst or related position. Experience to include: Working with cross-functional teams; Develop product portfolio roadmap; New Product Introduction (NPI); Value Package Profile (VPP); Pricing strategies using Price Segmentation and Price Elasticity of Demand Analysis; Financial data sorting and organization; Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis; Statistical sampling methods; Channel development; Voice of the Customer.
