Robert Half Test Center Administrator in Columbia, South Carolina

Description We are seeking a Test Center Administrator located in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is part of the education industry, where you will be heavily involved in the administration and management of our test center. The role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and requires proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities:

• Administering the test center and ensuring all operations run smoothly.

• Checking identification of test takers to verify their identity and eligibility for the test.

• Performing regular walkthroughs of the test room to maintain the integrity of the test environment.

• Monitoring test takers to prevent cheating or any other forms of malpractice.

• Writing detailed reports on test center activities and incidents, if any.

• Performing various clerical duties such as filing, record keeping, and correspondence.

• Delivering excellent customer service to test takers, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

• Regularly moving around the test room, ensuring a secure and conducive testing environment.

• Managing and updating test taker records using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites.

• Processing and handling billing functions and other office-related tasks. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Strong command over office functions including clerical duties and correspondence

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Experience in handling billing functions

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail

• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle issues effectively

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Ability to adapt to changing work environments and demands

• Willingness to learn new skills and improve current ones.
