The Technology System Engineer reports to the Director of Technology Infrastructure and Operations. The engineer manages the lifecycle of University-owned devices through enterprise tools and programming methodologies. The engineer programs scripts and executables to create a device management environment that is highly automated for workflow processing. The engineer collaborates with technology colleagues from all disciplines in IT and provides expert knowledge and abilities for technology projects. The engineer’s work outcome creates a computing experience for user devices that is effective, up-to-date, consistent, secure, accessible, confidential, and efficient.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Successful background check is required.
