Job Title: Claims Adjuster/Claim Processor

Location:4101 Percival Road Columbia SC 29229 United States

Duration:5+ Month of Contract

Pay Rate: $13/hr on W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Claims Adjudicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing complex or specialty claims, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and adjudicate complex claims according to business and contract regulations, internal standards, and guidelines. Verify correct coding of procedures and diagnosis codes and enter claims into the system accurately.

  • Ensure claims are processed according to established quality and production standards. Identify and correct processing errors through reprocessing, adjustments, or recoupment.

  • Research and resolve claims edits and deferrals. Utilize policies, procedures, and reference materials to address claim issues. Coordinate with internal support areas and respond to routine correspondence.

Education Qualification:

  • High School OR Equivalent
