Faculty position to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.

The College of Education, Human Performance and Health and the University of South Carolina Upstate invites applications for Instructor of Education Foundations. This is a 9-month, non-tenure-track position with a start date of August 16, 2024. This selected candidate will teach various courses which serve our Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, Secondary, Physical Education and Special Education programs. The successful candidate will join a team of teachers and researchers working collaboratively to develop teacher candidates’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions in PK-12 schools. Candidates who are knowledgeable of educational policies and trends that influence the education of students both statewide and nationally are encouraged to apply. Advertised Minimum Qualifications :

Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in educational foundations, human development, curriculum and instruction, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is required. A minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in PK-12th grade classrooms is required. A successful background check is required.
