We are looking for accounting professionals who are accomplished and organized. We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client in the Government industry. This role is with a company in the Government field. As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. How you will make an impact

• Create cash flow projections, as needed

• More tasks as requested

• Develop monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

• Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

• Condense business license and gross receipts

• Enter Accounts Payable

• Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

• Document budget transfers

• Adept in credit card management and reconciliation

• Categorize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

• Maintain monthly accounting close

• Handle Accounts Receivable Requirements - Strong attention to detail

• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll

• Foundational knowledge in QuickBooks Enterprise

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

  • 2+ years of related experience- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

• Highly organized and self-motivated

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards

• Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

  • Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
