Overview of Job Function:

The Associate FP&A Analyst provides support to the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis department. Responsibilities include assisting in the financial planning and analysis on a corporate level for internal and external purposes; budgeting, forecasting, financial statements reporting, review and analysis; chart of accounts management, internal reporting structures and key performance metrics reporting on a corporate level.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing and managing departmental results, budgets and forecasts.

  • Responsible in assisting chart of account maintenance.

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and frequent forecasts.

  • Provide insightful financial analyses that help drive strategic decisions.

  • Assist in preparing the consolidated quarterly reporting packages, internal reporting and analysis, management and board of directors’ presentations.

  • Work closely with and develop strong interfaces with the business finance and accounting teams to ensure that budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, requirements are met on a corporate level.

  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required

  • Minimum of 0-2 years of finance or accounting experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface to senior levels of an organization

  • Analytical, organization, planning, excel and project management skills

  • Displays personal initiative, results orientation and resourcefulness; exhibits a commitment to achieving the organization’s goals and an ability to overcome obstacles

  • Proven ability to gain cooperation of others

  • Highly motivated, hands-on involvement and detail oriented

  • Ability and desire to develop necessary knowledge and skills to grow within the Finance organization

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

Preferred Requirements:

  • CPA and/or MBA degree

  • Knowledge of financial applications, ERP applications and/or planning applications

  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion
