CITY OF COLUMBIA Administrative Technician II/Human Resources in Columbia, Missouri

**Although this position supports all Human Resources efforts, it's primary duties are within the areas of Wellness and Training.

The City of Columbia is seeking an individual who understands and appreciates both external and internal customers and can excel in a high volume, deadline driven, collaborative team environment. The work in this position involves providing customer service to employees, the public, and Human Resources staff. There are a variety of responsibilities related to purchasing, scheduling appointments; administrative duties involving New Employee Orientation, filing, etc. The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or equivalent( post-secondary coursework in business administration or similar field preferred) and three years of clerical experience.**

The purpose of this job is to provide advanced administrative support to assigned city departments and divisions, including training or coordinating work of others. Develops reports and enters financial and other information into related systems.
