Pre-IPO company looking for staff accountant coming from public accounting or another technical accounting position. This position reports to one of the most gifted technical accounting leaders who is also very personable and an experienced mentor. This staff accountant role offers a hybrid schedule and room for advancement. This role's duties include internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for reporting processes. The company offers a hybrid schedule with two to three days a week in the office and the rest work from home.

Requirements

• Some understanding of technical accounting

• Experience with SEC Reporting a plus

• Proven knowledge of financial auditing

• CPA and MA or MBA a plus

• Financial Statements preparation experience

• Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

• Competent with spreadsheets and databases

• 2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• Detail oriented and have the ability work independently
