Manages physician onboarding process, helping newly-credentialed physicians and Hopkins faculty to feel welcome, oriented and publicized. Manages annual educational process for new and current members of the professional staff, helping to reinforce key policies and processes to ensure physician engagement and the optimal patient experience. Researches, writes, edits, and supervises layout and production of select patient education materials and hospital publications as needed; including developing story ideas, maintaining manifests, interviewing appropriate contacts, writing articles, incorporating photos, obtaining approvals, managing production. Writes special feature articles as needed. Ensures all printed materials meet Howard County General Hospital's graphic standards. Works with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to identify and prioritize new programs, services and activities, and develop and implement communication plans that are informative, accurate and timely.

BA/BS in Communications or related field (such as marketing, business, journalism, English)
