Sales Support Assistant

We are seeking an Administrative Sales Assistant to join our Sales department.


  • Create and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for various departments within Sales and Operations.

  • Act as liaison between various departments to ensure positive and effective communications.

  • Effectively utilize database programs to enter, organize, and retrieve information and files.

  • Ensure all customer contact information is accurate in Vista and other databases.

  • Create, maintain, and update various spreadsheets.

  • Create and maintain folders for new contracts and test schedule folders.

  • Reassemble completed install folders into permanent files.

  • Scan and upload files and documents for easy retrieval.

  • Daily maintenance of file cabinets.

  • Provide timely response to all correspondence.

  • Organize and maintain drawing file, type billing sheets and revise cross-filing index.

  • Assist colleagues with locating files and drawings.

  • Enter warranty sites and customer information into Vista.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Location:

This job operates in a professional climate-controlled office environment in Columbia, MD.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 2+ years related experience.

  • Good oral/written communication skills are necessary.

  • Ability to work in a high volume/fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently with minimal mistakes.

  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.

  • Must have a positive and respectful attitude and maintain good working relationships with management staff and employees.

  • Must have great customer service skills.
