As a Sales Manager at Capitol Office Systems, a Xerox Business Solutions company, you will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and expanding business in both new and existing accounts, with your focus squarely on driving revenue growth and ensuring client satisfaction. Your leadership will impact a dedicated group of up to 8 sales professionals located in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland area, where you'll play a pivotal role in hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining top talent. Furthermore, your responsibilities extend to engaging and building strong relationships with C-level clients while working cross-functionally across the organization to achieve our ambitious business goals. Responsibilities include:
Revenue and Client Satisfaction:
Drive the achievement of team revenue, profit, and expense objectives, with a laser focus on digital transformation solutions that propel our clients forward.
Elevate client satisfaction to new heights expanding C-level client relationships, crafting strategic account plans, and instilling a disciplined client communications process within the team.
Sales Team Leadership and Development:
Must possess the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team, providing direction and support to help them achieve their targets
Problem solving the ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions to overcome obstacles in the sales process
Negotiating skills strong negotiating abilities to close deals effectively and ensure mutually beneficial agreements with the clients
The ability to maintain a positive attitude and motivate the team, even in the face of challenges and setbacks
Plan and implement recurring team meetings and trainings to provide cohesive approach to revenue targets
Facilitate account development strategies on target accounts to drive net new business
Coach, train and develop strategies to maximize market potential, grow net new business and upsell in current client accounts
Communication and Alignment:
- Strong communication skills are crucial for conveying information clearly, listening to team members, and building relationships with clients.
Performance Management and Collaboration:
Skills in setting performance matrix, conducting evaluations, providing constructive feedback to team members
Establishes effective partnerships with Operations, Customer Service, Service Managers and Product Management to win in todays’ competitive landscape
Manage daily/weekly sales activity by reviewing team performance pipeline and activity
Sales Planning:
Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure target sales goals and profit objectives are achieved
Submit accurate monthly forecasts
Client focused:
A passion and deep understanding of client needs and the ability to build strong relationships to enhance clint satisfaction, and loyalty. The ability to develop partnerships to expand our breadth of solutions
What You Need To Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
4-6 years of outstanding B2B sales and marketing achievements, consistently exceeding targets.
Information Technology Industry experience preferred.
Proven track record of successful sales management experience with a strong foundation in sales and consulting.
Exceptional business acumen, including enterprise-level acumen, with demonstrated team leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and consistently achieve targets.
Strategic relationship-building skills with a talent for cultivating key decision-maker relationships.
Proficient in MS Office Suites and Salesforce.
Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Capable of presenting to high-level leadership with impactful business results and strategic action plans.
Innovative and creative thinking when developing solutions.
Exceptional technology expertise with competence in technology hardware and services sales.
Familiarity with financial reporting, CRM tools, data analysis, and business management reporting.
Knowledge of print industry competitive solutions and industry digital trends, is a plus.
