Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer with expertise in embedded systems to join our team. This role involves building, testing, and improving the firmware of our flagship device, which incorporates Bluetooth, LTE, and a range of embedded sensors. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in firmware development, debugging, and testing for medical devices, with the ability to contribute to both existing and new designs. This role requires a versatile individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can address the challenges of designing firmware for the next generation of healthcare solutions.

Hard Skills

• Firmware Development & Maintenance (C/C++)

• Embedded Systems & Bluetooth Integration

• Collaboration with Cloud & App Development

• Testing & Documentation

• Quality & Compliance

• Low-level drivers for SPI, I2C, USB, ADC, DAC, RFIC, BLE, and LTE

• Bluetooth (BLE 5.0), LTE, and ARM processors (STM32F4 series)

• Real-time data transmission to AWS Cloud using protocols like MQTT

Work Site

This position is on site M-F in Columbia, Maryland.

Small engineering team of 10 people. Start-up/agile work environment.
