Delivers patient meal trays to patient rooms following hospital protocols. Performs side work in the kitchen and floor pantries. Cleans and organizes areas as directed.
The Dietary Assistant provides services in the preparation, service and sanitation of foods in the cafeteria, patient services and special functions. Provides indirect patient care through meal service. Communication is required outside of the work group of exchange work related information. Strong customer services skills to appropriately interact with coworkers and customers.
40 hours per week
Day Shift
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Every other week end
Work
High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required.
One (1) year of relevant food or customer service experience preferred.
