Shipping and ReceivingAn industry leader in timber design, engineering and manufacturing, with a state-of-the-art production facility in Columbia Falls, Montana, is hiring for their Shipping & Receiving department. While producing a high-quality product is essential, this manufacturing company values a people-centered environment.The Shipping and Receiving Associates will accept and process inbound shipments, verify delivered items, unload trucks, process returns and load outbound trucks. Additionally, comprehensive benefits enhance work-life balance, making this an ideal choice for those seeking a rewarding and fulfilling career.Pay: $18 to $20/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Full-time, day shiftBenefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offEssential Functions and Duties:Loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound trucks and box vansOperate material handling equipment, forklift, etc.As shipments of new lumber come into the yard, teams unload trucks, organize and store received items in appropriate areasInspect deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria and inspect for damageProcess returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory itemsReceive loading instructions, load trucks and verify the accuracyPerform routine inspections on equipment, tools, and machines, and notify maintenance team and supervisor when maintenance is neededOversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the yardHandle and complete paperwork including bill of ladings and material consumption sheetsQualifications:Forklift certification preferred, but willing to trainA valid driver’s license, and clean driving recordMust have basic math skillsPrevious warehouse experienceFamiliarity with shipping/receiving practices and handling methodsHigh school diploma or equivalentGet in touch!
