Position : Sales Specialist

Division: Business Development & Customer Success

Schedule: Full-Time

Reports To: Sales Chief of Staff

The Sales Specialist responds to current and future business opportunities and supports the assigned Sales Vertical, enabling Vertical Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to be customer-facing. This position requires high level of organization and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

The duties of this position include inbound lead qualifying and CRM management (50%); working with Sales Chief of Staff in executing sales & marketing’s strategic and tactical initiatives (25%) and sales and marketing administrative duties (25%).

Strategic

  • Become knowledgeable about industries Nomad serves.

  • Become knowledgeable about Nomad solution offerings.

  • Become knowledgeable about industry best practices and innovation.

  • Measure and report inbound lead quality with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns.

  • Work with sales to measure, report on, and optimize sales and marketing events (event ROI).

    People

  • Support Vertical Sales Team in execution of tasks related to sales process.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal department leads, key customers, and vendor partners.

  • Participate in regular knowledge sharing and performance feedback meetings.

  • Serve as a Nomad ambassador, embodying the values and vision of the company in all interactions.

    Process

  • Understand the theory and practical application of the HubSpot CRM tool.

  • Continuous self-educating to optimally utilize CRM tool.

  • Be responsible for HubSpot CRM contact and deal creation and organization.

  • Serve as first point of contact for inbound leads via phone calls and website inquiries.

  • Learn and execute Nomad’s sales methods and processes to deliver “Frictionless Customer Experience” and clearly defined and executable Sales Document Packages.

  • Manage tradeshows, to include tradeshow registration, tradeshow marketing material management, costing, performance, vehicle demo trade show preparation.

  • Manage demo vehicles, to include sales demo drivers, schedule, maintenance, vehicle demo preparation.

  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Chief of Staff and Sales Operations Manager.

    Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls.

  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and is occasionally required to sit.

  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything heavier than 50 pounds will require two people to lift / carry.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish individual colors.

  • The expectation of travel as required supporting marketing objects, to attend seminars, promotions, etc. Travel will be at least 10%.

    Working Environment:

  • Typical indoor office environment, long periods of computer-related work, constant interruptions, and high levels of stress at times.

  • The work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, temperatures can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but is typically around 70F. There are times when working outside will be required.

  • The employee may be subjected to noise levels, ranging from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time.

  • The employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals that will require the employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by SDS.

  • All Team Members must wear OSHA-approved safety glasses and closed-toed shoes at all times on the production floor.

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • High diploma or GED. Further education in Sales/Marketing field highly desired.

  • 2 years of documented, successful experience in a sales support role.

  • Evidence of CRM use and adherence.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, telephone, and interpersonal skills.

  • The desire and ability to progress through the Nomad career trajectory is a preferred characteristic.

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
