The Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) brings the power of integrated information technology to air warfare, Lockheed Martin's advanced command and control (C2) system for air dominance. The TBMCS warfighting system integrates a suite of C2 applications, and a full range of air mission functions, sensor data and intelligence gathering, and automates many elements that comprise the planning and execution phases for theater air operations.

THE WORK

In this important role you will:

•Perform object-oriented development and develop rich enterprise web applications utilizing Java Enterprise Edition (JEE).

•Work with a great Integration and Test team to help develop test procedure, test plans, implement tests, documents, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.

•Utilize day-to-day tools such as PowerShell, Korn shell, Batch, VBScript, Groovy, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, VMWare, Oracle Database, and Oracle WebLogic.

•Create detailed system installation and configuration instructions to support system deployment and test events.

•Get the opportunity to integrate hardware and software platforms with operating systems such as Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, RedHat Linux and troubleshoot complex issues on related to these systems.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree or equivalent experience/combined education.

- Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms

- Knowledgeable in Linux (e.g., RHEL or Red Hat) and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up

- Knowledge of VMWare systems administration and installing

- Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code

- Experience in development and debugging with scripting languages

**Must possess or be eligible for a DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position**

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with Java/J2EE and object oriented development

- Additionally, positive consideration will be given to candidates with prior experience in the following areas:

*Scripting: Powershell, Korn shell, Batch, VBScript, Groovy

*Virtualization: Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, VMWare

*Software COTS: Oracle Database, Oracle Weblogic

*Networking: Cisco

*Development Infrastructure: Jenkins, GitLab

*OS/COTS: Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, RedHat Linux

- Must be able to write clear, concise system installation and configuration instructions

- Previous experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting

- Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment

- Security+ Certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
