Job Overview

Responsible for developing, administering, managing and coordinating strategic and tactical operational activities and programs for the Radiology Department.

Department Name: CSH Radiology Administration Job Status: Full time, 40 hours per week Shift: Typical working hours will be M-F, days. This is a leadership position with 24-7 accountability, so some flexibility will be needed. May need to work holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree and completion of an accredited radiography program required. Experience: Five (5) years ofradiology experience to include two (2) years in a leadership role Equivalency:Experience will substitute for bachelor's degree on a year for year basis Certification(s): BLS/CPR, ARRT Registered and/or NMTCB Certificate required. CRA preferred

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform. * Manages the Radiology department's Clinical service lines. * Develops annual work plans used to achieve goals and performance metrics. * Participates in leadership activities for division, contributing to the achievement of goals and objectives; evaluates team performance. Defines and maintains internal processes for function; establishes customer service standards and handles operational and customer service escalations for function. Serves as a champion of enterprise-wide culture, influencing culture change to support functional objectives. * Manages communications to the enterprise on projects and hot topics related to functional area. Maintains effective working relationships with peers in division, peers in other divisions, and senior leadership. * Assigns and reviews work, provides work instruction (OTJ or formal training) and develops team members. Evaluates performance of team members, providing continuous feed ack. Manages discipline and performance issues; hires and fires team members. Identifies resource needs and develops recommendations for meeting needs. * Participates in developing budget recommendations and in monitoring budget. Completes productivity and monthly budget variance action plans, prepares and submits capital budget requests that meet the objectives of the strategic and tactical business plans. Develops and tracks both operational and capital budgeted items against actual expenditures within acceptable medical loss ratio parameters. * Works on highly complex projects; performs project management activities.
