Job Summary: Responsible for providing project management and administrative support for El Paso County aligning with strategic initiatives and plans. Assists with the initiation of the development and coordination of projects; monitors progress of projects to include suggestions for improvements and facilitation of meeting timelines. Analyzes, summarizes, and reviews data; interprets results and provides strategic recommendations. Develops presentations, publications, reports, executivesummaries, and other written materials. Position subject to grant funding.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: -Monitors and assists Project Manager with management of projects that align with the agency's strategic initiatives and plans, which may include collaboration among many programs to develop, plan, and present/disseminate information among internal and external partners. -Gathers project information such as schedules, assignments, tasks, and project meeting calendars. Works withproject team members in developing comprehensive workflow processes, tasks, and project assignments; disseminates information to project team members and stakeholders. -In coordination with Project Manager, oversees project schedule, establishes timelines, and identifies necessary resources. Continuously monitors project progress and conducts project monitoring meetings; builds consensus and delegates ownership of individual tasks. -Organizes the activities of project team members to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery, reduce redundancy, and facilitate communication between project stakeholders. -Communicates project progress, status, and risks to Project Manager and stakeholders. Assists in coordinating strategic planning meetings; follows up with meeting notes and action items. -Helps to ensure project goals are identified and met under applicable regulations and agency guidelines. -Develops and implements evaluation tools and/or a metrics component to measure project success and completion timeline. -Assists in researching, collecting, and managing a wide variety of data. -Analyzes, summarizes, and/or reviews data; interprets results and makes recommendations. -Responsible for preparing presentations and developing reports, publications, executive summaries, and/or otherwritten materials. -Composes, modifies, and/or edits documents and publications; ensures clarity, completeness, accuracy, quality, andadherence to agency writing and branding standards. -Performs a variety of administrative duties to include coordination of executive schedules, answering correspondence, and facilitating the delivery of confidential and sensitive information. -Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Knowledge of project management processes and best practices. -Knowledge and understanding of County policies and procedures. -Must possess a high level of attention to detail. -Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; ability to maintain the security of sensitive andconfidential information. -Demonstrated strong analytic and critical thinking skills. Ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to variousadministrative problems, and prioritize work. -Skill in prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks and the ability to complete projects in a timely manner. Ability torespond in a flexible manner and reprioritize work as situations change. -Skill in developing presentation materials to convey complex information to various groups with different levels ofunderstanding of the organization's programs and activities. -Skill in demonstrating a cooperative, professional attitude to cultivate rel tionships both within and outside the organization. -Skill in using a computer and various software packages including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of desktop publishing,design/layout, website content management systems, and online business platforms. -Ability to effectively plan, schedule, and organize. -Ability to communicate, motivate, and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel frequently underdeadline pressure. -Ability to demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns;ability to identify results of efforts and problems identified/potential problems and to develop and recommend corrective actions to leadership. -Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with proper regard for spelling, grammar, and punctuation. -Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
