Aerotek is hiring for Machine Builders with electrical/mechanical experience in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Responsibilities:

Electrical

• This position will be doing electrical assembly on control panels for water filtration systems

• Following Blueprints and Schematics

• Wiring control panels

Mechanical

•Performs repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electro mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work

•Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality

•Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence

•Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination

•Assembles all variations of in-house standard products

•Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc solvent welding and thread taping

•Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures

•Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP)

•Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities

•Reads and interprets blueprints

•Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition

Qualifications:

• Required: Minimum 6 months' relevant experience required

• Will lift up to 50 lbs independently. Anything that weighs more will be team-lifted or rigged.

• Wiring experience

• Assembly experience

• Blueprints/Schematics

• Running conduit

• Hand and power tools

Shift and Schedule:

• 2nd Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm
