The Films & Video Project Manager 1 position exists to provide daily support for the Constituent Services Traffic Manager including complex project scheduling, troubleshooting, client training, and freelance/contractor coordination. Must be aware of legal requirements regarding Statements of Work and Contracts. Performs highly complex tasks requiring comprehensive knowledge of Focus on the Family policies and procedures. Must possess strong organizational, administrative, computer, creative reporting, and communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and work comfortably in a highly deadline driven Films & Video Department. Strong attention to details is necessary. Must be adaptable to large amount of change due to adjustments in priorities and urgent project requests. Must be comfortable with complex scheduling systems and have the knowledge to troubleshoot when problems arise. Tactful, strong negotiation skills are necessary. This position requires a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Is responsible for scoping project requests, determining needed resources and coordinating work assignments to the Films & Video team
Is responsible for the day-to-day job tracking and distribution to the appropriate film producers and project owners
Ensures that films briefs are completed thoroughly and ensures proper distribution of assets required from Films & Video – concept to execution
Proofs collateral prior to business unit routing to ensure it meets brief and errors are addressed
Maintains production calendar and troubleshoots campaign issues - works with broader project team to resolve or reschedule as needed
Manages the creative process and takes timely corrective action to ensure that jobs stay on schedule and that resources are utilized effectively
Manages and monitors project schedules, identifies bottlenecks and resolves problems while maintaining project scheduling procedures and standards including system integrity
Manages and maintains project and resource management tools to facilitate an efficient workflow process and ensure timely and accurate client reviews
Regulates team resource allocations
Maintains project management tool using Smartsheet
Maintains project resource utilization and accuracy using Tempus
Runs monthly C-Team utilization reports using Tempus
Maintains strong professional relationships with internal producers and clients, seeking required approvals and involving them at critical intervals
Coordinates the distribution of deliverables across multiple distribution outlets as needed (Social media, broadcast, streaming, theatrical)
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Works alongside film producers to a ssign and manage workflows and roles on all film projects
Implements process changes as needed
Assists with preparation of end-of-year reports/graphs
Performs other duties as assigned, w hich may include travel plans and logistics for productions, working with Legal and Finance on contracts and outside vendor agreements and other department support

Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or other Business-related major (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of experience in traffic or project management
Familiarity with Films process
Basic understanding of design fundamentals
Technical expertise in Marketing Operations helpful
Experience with coordinating a fast-paced creative production team
Production scheduling experience and knowledge of the creative process

Salary Range: $58,236 to $67,077/Yr.
