Summary Description: Provides transportation for students, faculty, staff and college affiliated visitors to local, statewide, and out of state locations. Anticipated Salary Range: $19.00 to $21.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Drive vehicles ranging in size from passenger cars to 56 passenger motor coaches on college related field trips. Trips can vary in length from a few hours to several days. Perform pre-trip inspections in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Responsible for fueling and cleaning of vehicles at completion on each trip. Some field classes may require the driver to camp in remote areas while on overnight trips. Maintain driver daily log, vehicle inspection reports, timesheet and related records.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED. 1 year driving experience in class A or B vehicles; ability to drive for long periods of time; knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance and operation; excellent driving skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds; knowledge of and ability to use a personal computer. Physical requirements include constant standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching; reaching and twisting; occasionally exerts in excess of 100 pounds, frequently in excess of 50 pounds. Must be 21 years of age with driving record that is insurable by Colorado College's motor vehicle insurance carrier. Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with passenger endorsement and air brake restriction removed. Current D.O.T. Medical Examiner'
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of motor coach/Bus driving experience or vehicles of similar size.
