Team (Project) Introduction Identity Access Management (IAM) is divided into two business lines: Identify Services and Access Services. The primary services supported are the Master Person Index, Provisioning, Authorization Management Service, Single Sign-On Internal/ External, Veteran Health Identification Card, and Compliance Auditing Reporting. 9th Way Insignia has an opening for a Configuration Manager to work in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT) on the Identity and Access Management (IAM). This high-profile position serves as Insignia's primary point of contact and leads the day-to-day contract operations, ensuring that the IAM technical scope is delivered within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Professional Level The Configuration Manager position aligns as Level 2 Engineer at 9th Way Insignia. As an Engineer, 1 your duties may include testing project components, identifying problems and discovering solutions, working on ongoing projects based on specifications or drawings, and collaborating with teams of other engineers. Typically performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm. An Engineer, 1 has strong technical skills and background, a knack for learning new technologies, and a blend of good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges. Functional Job (LCAT) Information A Configuration manager must have experience in management configuration programs to ensure that all proposed and actual changes to program technology and documentation are properly staffed, approved, and tracked. Must facilitate the change Notification process used for updating product. Must ensure notification of performing organizations or project teams of change activity. Responsibilities:

Preparation of complete configuration documentation

Overseeing the management of configuration items

Coordinate the harmonization of the individual components of a product.

Plan and execute configuration management throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Increase interdisciplinary understanding and transparency among individual departments.

Organization and planning

Configuration identification

Collaborating with other IT team members to ensure that all new technologies are compatible with existing systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

5+ years of proven experience.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.

Prior experience in a federal data warehouse and understanding of government procedures and regulations is preferred.

Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $61,677.00 to $77,794.87. 9th Way Insignia's range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
