Job Summary: The Chiropractic Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our clinic, assisting the chiropractor with patient care, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: o Greet and welcome patients upon arrival. o Assist patients with check-in procedures and necessary paperwork. o Escort patients to treatment rooms and prepare them for examinations and treatments. o Provide patients with information on chiropractic procedures and wellness advice as instructed by the chiropractor. o Directing patient flow

Clinical Support: o Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments, including preparing treatment areas and equipment. o Administer basic therapies under the supervision of the chiropractor, such as cold laser therapy. o Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized environment in treatment rooms and common areas. o Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.

Administrative Duties: o Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's calendar. o Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. o Handle billing processes, including verifying patient information and processing payments. o Explaining financial care plans to patients and securing financial commitments. o Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary. o Tracking office statistics

General Support: o Assist with clinic marketing activities, such as preparing informational materials and organizing community outreach events. o Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. o Perform other duties as assigned by the chiropractor to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus. Previous experience in a chiropractic office or healthcare setting preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Basic knowledge of chiropractic care and medical terminology is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and assisting patients with mobility.

Schedule: This is a part time position offering 15 - 20 hours per week typically from 2pm-7pm Tuesday-Thursday, which may include late evenings and occasional weekends.
