Salary/Pay Range : $69,000 - $75,000 per academic year. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary
The Assistant Teaching Professor will teach graduate and undergraduate courses and labs including but not limited to: Introduction to Robotics, Logic Circuits, Circuits and Systems, Electronics I and II, Physical Electronics and semiconductor devices etc. Assistant Teaching Professors with appropriate professional experience or a Ph.D. may teach higher level courses.
Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
The typical workload for an Assistant Teaching Professor is 80% teaching (24 credit hours/8 courses) and 20% service activity per academic year. No research is expected. For this position, annual evaluation is based on teaching and service.
Other activities may include:
Curriculum development including the development of new courses.
Guiding undergraduate students in independent studies.
Developing and teaching distance courses.
Advising undergraduate majors.
Participating in departmental committees and meetings.
Other as assigned by the Chair.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess an MS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and have at least one semester of teaching experience (at least as a teaching assistant, instructor of record or the equivalent) in US academic settings.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, teaching experience at the college level, and experience with delivery of online courses.
