Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the sports industry located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and maintaining our financial records, including the careful processing of invoices and the keeping of meticulous records related to various payment methods. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately processing and managing vendor documents and tax-related records.

• Keeping track of company credit card expenses and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner.

• Maintaining company contract files in an organized and accessible manner.

• Collaborating with the Office Manager and external payroll service provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.

• Administering wellness program awards as part of employee benefits.

• Handling queries related to accounting in a professional and timely manner.

• Assisting in the preparation of audit paperwork, ensuring all necessary documents are available and accurate.

• Serving as a back-up for the Accounting Manager when necessary, stepping in to ensure the smooth running of operations.

• Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel to perform duties efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Prior experience with Check Runs

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Proven experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Previous experience in Account Reconciliation

• Understanding of Benefits Payroll

• Ability to work in a team-oriented sports industry environment

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload

• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
