Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a diligent Accounting Assistant in the non-profit industry located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role involves extensive work with accounting functions, particularly using NetSuite software, and requires a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process accounts payable utilizing NetSuite software

• Conduct comprehensive bank reconciliations on a monthly basis

• Collaborate with the accounting team to meet financial objectives and operational requirements

• Ensure data integrity within NetSuite by diligently maintaining accurate and timely data entry

• Assist in the execution of month-end closing processes

• Regularly perform GL postings, ensuring all entries are accurate and current

• Contribute to additional accounting projects as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in handling Accounting Functions.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is required.

• Must have experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is a plus.

• Strong Data Entry skills are needed.

• Previous experience in a Non-Profit organization will be advantageous.

• A degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• A proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Must maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
