The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Developer to join our IT team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set. The D365 Developer will help design, develop, and implement technical solutions based on business requirements. As a D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting custom solutions and integrations.

This position requires working with custom-coded solutions and data integrations and ensuring maximum uptime and performance of custom D365 solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work alongside our D365 Solutions Architect and D365 System Administration team analyzing current business processes and assisting users in making the best use of systems.

  • Develop and unit test modifications, integrations, and extensions for D365 Finance and Operations using X++ and C#.

  • Troubleshoot and support native and custom-coded solutions and integrations.

  • Work with business users and analysts to evaluate new requirements and processes.

  • Create and deploy software deployable packages using Azure DevOps pipelines and Lifecycle Services.

  • Maintain virtual machines, database backups, and ADO pipeline configurations.

  • Develop programming extensions and integrations to Dynamics 365

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend system process improvement opportunities.

  • Troubleshoot issues and communicate progress and status on Azure DevOps work items.

  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and MS Dynamics capabilities.

  • Apply hotfixes and platform updates across F&O environments.

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with full life-cycle implementation of D365FO/ Dynamics AX.

  • Proven experience in requirement gathering and discovery with SME, End users, and stakeholders.

  • Experience in developing X code and object-oriented code, design, create, and revise Dynamics workspaces.

  • Experience with .NET, C#, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, JavaScript, HTML, SSRS, SSIS, and SQL

  • Experience involving Dynamics customizations, including server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies, and plug-ins.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 security roles, duties, privileges, and permissions

  • Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure DevOps

  • Building, deployment, and migration of Microsoft Dynamics F&O solutions across development, test, pre-production, and production environments

  • Ability to write SQL queries.

  • Experience with Source Code Control as with TFS or GitHub / DevOps

  • Experience connecting multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, etc.)

  • Experience in ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies

  • Experience in creating forms, classes, extend tables, Extended Data Types (EDT), enumerations, and extend AOT elements.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Familiarity with finance and project-based business processes as well as experience working with finance and accounting teams and technologies.

  • A stable high-speed internet connection and quiet working environment.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to plan and lead initiatives independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication skills, and technical troubleshooting abilities that will be used to analyze and resolve business system problems; must be able to provide documentation when required.

  • Highly motivated individual – you must be proactive, enthusiastic, agile, show initiative, and be good at multitasking.

  • Ability to notice the little things and triple-check processes and information for compliance and accuracy.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • MB-500 is preferred.
