Bongards' Creameries High Speed Packaging Machine Operator in Cologne, Minnesota

Description Bongards is looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to operate one of our high speed packaging machines on the day shift. The hours are from 5 am to 5 pm on a shift that rotates each week, you will be required to work every other weekend. The pay for this role is $26.04 an hour and a full set of benefits. Job duties: Operate the Hart wrappers used to wrap process cheese slices. Produce quality wrapped packages. Keep wrapper in operating condition. Safe operation of the wrapper. Assist maintenance with troubleshooting. Assure the proper label is on the cheese packages. Assure the proper information is printed on the packages. Check all bottom and end seals for quality. Perform sanitation duties as assigned. Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead. Other requirements: Must demonstrate a commitment to both food and employee safety. Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
