As a Floater / Substitute Teacher at The Goddard School, you join a group of other educators who are passionate about working with young children. This position allows you the opportunity to work with children from ages 0-5 and gain experience with multiple age groups. We provide all necessary training to help you be successful in your new role by maintaining all health & safety policies, all while having fun with children!    Compensation and Benefits: * Competitive pay, $11-$13+/hr depending on qualifications * Full-time shifts available or afternoon part-time shifts  * No nights or weekends! * (7) Paid holidays + (5) paid days for Winter Break for full-time employees * Annual bonus opportunities * Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance * 401K plan with match * Continued education and training Responsibilities: Assist the Lead Teacher in the following areas: * Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. * Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creative lesson planning. * Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance. * Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families. * Maintain a professional commitment. Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Some experience in an early childhood education center or similar program (preferred) * Willingness to work any hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm (8 hour shift) * Strong computer and technology skills. Previous experience with digital lesson planning tools and software is a plus. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Desire to be a part of a successful team working together!
