The Experience Hub at The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John\'s University invites applicants for the full-time (.92 FTE), benefit-eligible position of Experience Hub Ambassador & Outreach Manager. The Experience Hub (EH) Ambassador & Outreach Manager under primary supervision of the Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research & Scholars is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Experience Hub outreach and engagement, including Experience & Professional Development (XPD), the Office of Undergraduate Research & Scholars (OURS), the Center for Global Education (CGE) and the Fleischhacker Center for Ethical Leadership in Action. The Manager develops and executes Experience Hub Outreach strategy, advises students on experiential engagement, and manages programs, including our student ambassador initiatives. The College of Saint Benedict (CSB) is a liberal arts college for women, and Saint John\'s University (SJU) is a liberal arts college for men and a graduate School of Theology and graduate Nursing programs for both men and women. SJU is the home of the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library and the Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research. The campuses are located in the central lakes area of Minnesota, surrounded by more than 3,000 acres of pristine forests, prairies, and lakes. Responsibilities Experience Hub Outreach Work with directors on strategic outreach efforts; including but not limited to, social media, on-campus outreach events, website maintenance. Serve as liaison for Experience Hub with Admissions, coordinate presence at Admission events, support students as they visit EH during campus tours. Coordinate and execute EH presence at campus-wide events such as the Academic Exploration & Opportunities Fair Coordinate all Experience Hub events including events within individual departments within the EH including, but not limited to, the Study Abroad Fair, Study Abroad 101s and 201s, Welcome Back Dinners, Connections XPO, support for all career and networking fairs (both on and off campus), Scholarship & Creativity Day, OURS Week, Pathways 101s and more. Manage event logistics such as space, signage, set-up, media, promotion of the event, organization of the event student staffing and post-event data collection and sharing. Assist EH staff with partner relations work, including campus interviewing, fairs, information sessions. Collaborate with CSB and SJU Marketing and Communications department in marketing efforts including collaboration for ma keting materials for Admission recruitment. Supervise and coordinate student staff to assist with EH websites, social media maintenance, and EH marketing events. Manage master event calendar, including Experience Hub and specific events for CGE, UR, and XPD. Manage budget related to outreach within each department and the specific budget line for cross-Hub outreach. Contribute to Hub assessment data through accurate entry of engagement at Hub events and programs. Program Management Fleishhacker Center for Ethical Leadership in Action: Assist application process and selection of Summer Leadership Fellows (SLF) applications funded through Fleischhacker endowment. Brainstorm and assist with facilitation of SLF meetings and trainings as needed. Build additional high-impact practices for CSB women related to ethical leadership in action, especially in partnership with other departments within the EH. Create opportunities for faculty to engage in and develop curricular opportunities related to ethical leadership. Devise and empower CSB women in mentorship opportunities. Outline needs for related workshops and speakers specific to Fleischhacker. Pathways to Distinction: Assist the director of the Office of Undergraduate Research & Scholars for cohort recruitment into Pathways. Support Pathways Guides programming and training with created materials, recruitment into the Guides role, and End of Pathways event at commencement. Lead Pathways training for campus partners such as Admission, Marketing, and related clubs and departments Campus Clubs/Department Programming: Develop new programming with student groups and other related campus partners with intention to increase high-impact practice participation from key student demographic areas. Develop programming strategies to represent all departments with the Experience Hub at new events, etc. Advising and Mentorship Advise students on Experience Hub opportunities through one-on-one and group advising sessions. Develop advising and mentoring tools that can be used by staff and student employees when working with students to connect them with experiential learning opportunities. Manage student-led peer mentorship through the Hub such as the OURS student employee(s) with Pathways 101 peer meetings, CGE student employee(s) with Study Abroad 101/201 peer meetings and XPD student employee(s) with academic internship peer meetings. Develop and Manage Student Ambassador Team (student employees) Hire, train, supervise, and motivate Experience Hub Ambassadors hired for the following capacities: Represent EH as higher-level ambassadors in a primarily outward facing capacity including but not limited to outreach events, tabling, peer-to-peer meetings, program recruitment event, Admission tours and campus-wide events. Support general Experience Hub office work and event preparation. Complete specialty area related tasks Engage fellow students through content creation on social media, websites, and Canvas. Collaborate with Student Employment Office on hiring paperwork, timecard approval, etc. Troubleshoot issues as needed. Engage Ambassador Team in student employment as a high-impact practice, infusing reflective questions to help student employees connect employment with academics and future career possibilities. Support Specialty Ambassadors related tasks for EH offices, such as presentations to classes or prospective students, assisting with operations, or event planning.
