PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
- Deliver and report on physical therapy treatment for all clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment within company timelines
- Utilize evidence-based practice and skills to assess, plan, and implement interventions
- Ensure that clients and families receive the highest quality of care through a caring and compassionate approach to services
- Work with other health care professions, providing education and training as required
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow all HIPAA and company policies and procedures
- Train new physical therapy team members on job post functions
- Maintain safety of clients and staff by following all cleaning policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager for clinical in-services and continuing education
- Perform other duties as delegated, required or requested
Requirements
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of Texas
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Maintain current CPR certification
- Strong collaboration skills and motivation to work with people at all levels
- Must be able to manage self by statistics and abide by conditions
- Candidates must be willing and eager to work with adult and pediatric populations.
