The Coordinator for Web Initiatives will assist with the technical aspects of the website to ensure the resources are available to meet the needs of the strategic plan. They will focus on working with the web platform company and the University IT department. The web team is also responsible for the software that checks the web for needed revisions and updates based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implements major site-wide upgrades.
Update s and enhance s existing websites .
Create s style guides to ensure website appearance and functional alignment .
Populate s brand assets including videos, photos , and font libraries .
Reviews web statistics and makes recommendations to managers to improve visibility and usability of web sites.
Maintains technical expertise in web design tools and acts as a technical resource for software in field of expertise.
Implements design standards and styles that ensure a high level of design and coding efficiency consistent with current standards, laws, and trends.
Documents, tests, implements , and maintains web pages and multimedia design using appropriate web publishing, editing and graphics applications.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Five years of related experience.
Supervision of Others
This position general ly does not supervise empl oyees.
