Responsibilities:

Schedule Development:

  • Develop comprehensive master schedules for projects based on input from project managers, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

  • Utilize project management software (such as Microsoft Project, or similar tools) to create and manage project schedules efficiently.

  • Ensure that project schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives and constraints.

Schedule Managements

  • Regularly update and maintain project schedules to reflect changes in scope, resources, timelines, or other factors that may impact project delivery.

  • Monitor project progress against the master schedule and identify potential delays or deviations from the planned timeline.

  • Work closely with project managers and team members to resolve scheduling conflicts and mitigate risks to project timelines.

Communication & Reporting

  • Communicate project schedules, progress updates, and milestone achievements to project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.

  • Prepare and distribute regular reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing project schedule performance and key metrics

Required Knowledge / Experience:

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS projects for generating project schedules.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency in generating pivots and power BI reports. Excel Macros / Visual Basic programming for automating tasks in Excel an added advantage. Basic MS Power point proficiency in compiling presentable data with key takeaways.

  • Experience utilizing an MRP/ERP system. Extract and analyze reports from ERP and present summary of information to all stakeholders.

  • Reviewing start and completion dates in Oracle for manufacturing activities and bought out receipts and working with Supply Chain / Production / Planning teams for maintaining data accuracy in ERP.

  • Cost Estimation and margin analysis for the projects by extracting cost and routings from ERP.

  • Identify and escalate the activities/bought out items leading to margin deterioration and highlight opportunities for savings.

  • Forecasting planned month of deliveries and thereby projecting sales and margin numbers for upcoming months based on the sales order data available in ERP.

  • Oversee updates to Master Data consistent with Inventory Policy and plant strategy.

  • Tracking OE and parts shipments to meet the monthly and Quarterly production plan numbers.

  • Should have experience in Capacity Planning Should interface with finance & forecast monthly / annual labor hours by work center & understanding the impact this has on absorption.

  • Experience with POC accounting principles is also a plus but not an absolute. Experience with developing an AOP is also desired.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business administration, or project management Proven experience (typically 6-8 years) in project scheduling, planning, or related roles Proficiency to Read/Write/Speak in English.

Skills & Qualification:

  • Should be a quick learner in knowing the existing process and model them quickly in MS projects.

  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel Strong planning, scheduling and negotiation skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
