Position Summary:
Responsible for data extracts, analysis and reporting under the 340b program.
Responsibilities:
Maintains data files for audits and reporting
Configures and maintains the MacroHelix Crosswalk to ensure accurate purchase and usage accumulations
Proactively configures MacroHelix with changes in the drug formulary and/or provider list
Monitors daily purchasing activity for items purchased outside the MacroHelix Crosswalk and determines when configuration modifications are required
Maintains the Meditech Drug Dictionary Ordering Tab NDC for accuracy
Analyzes drug utilization activity against admission status to ensure compliant 340b/GPO activity is reported
Attends monthly Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meetings
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications :
Successful completion of a licensed Pharmacy Technician Program
3 years’ hospital pharmacy technician experience required
CPhT Certification and Idaho State Board Pharmacy Technician registration required
Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs such as Excel, Access, Meditech modules or other similar computer programs required
Experience in data analysis techniques desired (queries, drills, sorting, formulas)
Previous insurance, 340b and billing experience preferred
Working Conditions:
Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds
Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
Typical equipment used in a clinical job
