Maintenance Manager - 1st Shift

Job Description

The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance operations, focusing on reducing operating costs and increasing efficiencies through continuous improvement programs. This management role involves creating and managing work assignments, developing preventative maintenance schedules, and participating in weekly plant meetings with production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage work assignments and provide daily preventative maintenance tasks to the team.

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement programs to reduce operating costs and increase efficiencies.

  • Monitor performance metrics related to plant operations and use data to shape activities.

  • Participate in weekly plant meetings with production.

  • Create preventative maintenance schedules for maintenance, process techs, and injection molding departments.

  • Develop plans to decrease downtime.

  • Manage a team of 25 employees, including maintenance staff, mechanical engineers, supervisors, and planners.

  • Troubleshoot PLC issues.

  • Assist with maintenance on injection molding and tool/die as needed.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • 8+ years of maintenance management or supervision experience.

  • Experience with plastics and injection molding.

  • Electrical experience with 480V three-phase systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • MIG or stick welding and fabrication skills.

This position operates in a non-climate controlled environment. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00
