The Sr Program Manager, DSP Capacity Planning will be a key leader in the long range capacity strategy and planning team for the DSP Program, specifically owning the largest and most complex regions. Amazon scales fast, and we strongly rely on data and mechanisms to support this growth. The Sr Program Manager will be responsible for constantly evolving strong forecasting and analytical models that can reliably predict long range capacity needs in a high growth environment. Beyond high growth, the business is also subject to rapid changes due to internal and extraneous factors. You will navigate long range planning through this change, by developing proactive strategies that are future compatible, and nimble enough to react to changes quickly. Key job responsibilities Build scalable and data driven long range DSP capacity plans. Build and manage processes to incorporate planning inputs in a seamless and scalable manner. Build partnerships with upstream planning functions to measure, control and respond to planning variations. Work cross-functionally with field operations and functional leaders to drive influence in capacity planning and management. Drive leadership business reviews on long term capacity strategy. This role can be based out of Seattle or Nashville Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Engineering, Transportation, Operations Research or other Operations disciplines 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, transportation, planning, finance, or general management. MBA or Master\'s Degree in a related field. Experience in planning and supply chain functions that are data heavy. Track record of leading cross functional projects and working with Senior Leaders. Strong analytical skills using data to identify and solve ambiguous problem. Proficiency in Excel functions is an added advantage. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from \$ 115,600/[hr/yr] in our lowest geographic market up to \$ 160,000/[hr/yr] in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
