We\'re hiring a Senior Product designer for our AAA (Administration, Authentication and Authorization) pillar to shape the future of our Enterprise admin, security and governance experiences. Designers at Smartsheet come from a diverse range of traditional and non-traditional backgrounds. We apply principles of design thinking to create engaging, valuable, and intuitive user experiences for our web and mobile apps. Designers represent the end-user and promote human-centered methodologies across the product team to design solutions that meet people\'s needs. You will report to our Sr. Product Design Manager located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer. What You\'ll Do: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to break down complex, ambiguous problems into sophisticated solutions that both solve user needs and hit business goals. Create intuitive and delightful user experiences by incorporating user insights, business requirements and technical constraints. Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually by using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. Partner with UX Research to conduct usability testing and incorporate user and team feedback. Create task flows, wireframes, prototypes, microinteractions, refined design mockups, and development-ready assets. Present design work to Design, Product and Engineering teams as well as stakeholders and executive leadership. Be a strong advocate for the user experience, articulate your decisions to influence product development at all stages. Support other duties as necessary. What You Bring: Degree in design (interaction, product, human-centered, or related) or equivalent experience. 5+ years design experience, with strong information design and visual design skill, including color, typography, and hierarchy. A passion for the craft of design, and the importance of user experience for people and our business. A portfolio that shows collaboration in your processes, ability to design for end-to-end experiences, as well as modern UI and interactions. Ability to clearly present your designs, including design rationale or supporting research. A systems thinking approach-you understand downstream impacts of design decisions. Expertise in using and contributing to modern UX frameworks and design systems. Experience facilitating activities that gather insights on user needs and goals, as well as validating designs with user research. Expertise in design & prototyping tools such as Figma (primary), Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Axure, or other emerging tools. Experience with enterprise scale web applications and SaaS products is a strong plus. Experience applying accessibility best practices (WCAG AA) is a plus.
