Amazon Corporate LLC Senior Supply Chain Manager, AMXL in Clyde Hill, Washington
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is a single-threaded organization that owns the End-to-end Customer experience for heavy and bulky products. AMXL consolidates supply chain, tech, FC operations, transportation, delivery stations, and last mile delivery. We also provide special handling services such as Room of Choice delivery, Haul-Away and Installation/Assembly for select items. AMXL currently has operations in NA & EU, with plans to expand to more countries this year. We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong record of delivering results for an exciting opportunity to work in the first mile supply chain space responsible for FC and IXD network design. In this role you will deal with ambiguity, identify problem statements and develop innovative solutions to improve Customer Experience, reduce cost and create a best in class fulfillment network. We make complex problems fun working backwards from our customers! Key job responsibilities - Create an optimized FC network topology plan during each planning cycle, collaborate and drive alignment with partner teams such as Real Estate, Short-term/Mid-term planning, Operations Engineering, and Finance. - Work with each part of the network to determine optimal co-location opportunities. - Identify opportunities to improve FC and IXD planning automation. Interface with the Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) organization to drive modeling and automation improvements. - Partner with Finance, Real Estate, and Capital Planning teams to make your optimized network plan a reality by advocating for and justifying new building locations through the Captial Appropriation Request (CAR) process. - Build a network plan that has the correct mix of and amount of storage and throughput capacity to handle our long-term demand forecasts. - Define the project objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics - Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks) We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bellevue, WA, USA - 5+ years of program or project management experience - 5+ years of supply chain experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master\'s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from \$92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to \$181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
