Job Description Responsible to lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to regulatory proceedings and subsequent policy development. Serves as liaison with UTC (Utilities and Transportation Commission) on associated matters. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities Leads the development and implementation of regulatory strategic initiatives in coordination with regulatory directors and managers. Leads regulatory policy development with assistance from regulatroy directors, managers and internal business partners. Serves as liaison with the UTC staff on assign rates, and regulatory proceeding and issues under consideration by the commission. Provides RCW (Revised Code of Washington) and WAC (Washington Administrative Code) interpretations, clarity and guidance to regulatory, customer care and other business units, to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations. Creates communications regarding regulatory activities for company-wide circulation. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, communications; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience. 7 years relevant work experience specifically in regulatory affairs including state strategy and policy. Excellent customer relations skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution. Excellent communications skills (oral, written, listening). Ability to balance multiple projects, priorities and deadlines. Excellent presentation skills with an ability to effectively communicate complex information. Uncompromising ethics and integrity. Desired Qualifications MBA or 7 years in public policy. Working knowledge of public works and procedures. The pay range for this position is$101,000.00-$168,200.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses. PSE offers a suite of benefits to our employees.
