JLL D&C Project Manager in Clyde Hill, Washington
Project Management Responsible for project scheduling and project decisions based upon owners' objectives which may include, but is not limited to: site improvements, entitlements, permits, consultant selection; design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports. Develops or assists in developing project budget including hard costs, soft costs and FF&E. Assembles and manages required teams of consultants and contractors. (Participates in contract negotiations with external stakeholders; Interfaces with architects, client staff, property managers and vendors). Develops relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors and evaluate their performance. Operates independently and collaboratively on activities relevant to projects assigned. Defers policy issues and employment related issues to higher management levels. Responsible for adherence to JLL's contractual Key Performance Indicators; including adherence to project schedules, adherence to project budgets, and customer satisfaction metrics Responsible for managing the client's internal stakeholder teams; including IT, AV, Security, Production Operation Teams, and FF&E. Work closely with these client stakeholders to meet project requirements and timelines. Specific job requirements include:Collaborate/coordinate with other account personnel (including Facilities team) and clients in execution of work Manage security badge access program for all construction consultants and their sub-contractors Coordinate onsite consultant impact to business through workplans, (example: power outages) Communicate with clients via daily communication tools for project updates Assist team in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards of excellence. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES EDUCATION/TRAINING Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution required. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred. YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 3-5 years as PM or similar role. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Firm knowledge of construction or technical and lab experience installation commercial real estate industry Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products OTHER ABILITIES Experience working in technical/lab environments. Knowledge of MEP systems/building infrastructure preferred Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently. Assumes responsibility for assignments of moderate complexity, and continues to improve skill base. PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS & WORK CONDITIONS Work primarily at client site in Kirkland, WA. Able to report to office/jobsite in-person 5 days per week (non-remote position).Face to face daily interpersonal interaction is usually required in order to perform the job.
