Emerson Inside Sales Specialist in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

As our Service Specialist , you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Technical & Commercial Proposals to our customers in Europe across various process industries (such as Life Sciences, Chemical, Energy, Power and Renewables) within Emerson services portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities. This role requires the overall management of the proposal preparation and order booking process, including sales & operations collaborators’ coordination and direct customer contact, with a focus on winning more orders for the company. As a key point of contact, you will build and maintain positive relationships with Sales Account Managers and Operations teams across Europe!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensuring understanding, handling and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or the company’s collaborators through remote communication or site visits;

  • Taking ownership of the assigned Technical and Commercial Proposal and Order Booking scope delivery within Emerson portfolio, following the standard process; ensure the innovative and efficient solutions are proposed; proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, while maintaining the requisite schedule and quality; ensure partners are proactively informed on the status or any challenges;

  • Acquiring, maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization; support on-the-job development of other Service Specialists;

  • Taking other responsibilities or tasks, including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the Engineering field;

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and excellent communication skills;

  • Computer literate (MS Office).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in commercial and sales support activities;

  • Experience in process automation field for various industries;

  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure;

  • Project management/coordination skills.

  • Knowledge of a third European language as German/French/Italian/Spanish is considered a plus.
