We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team in Cluj-Napoca!

As an Application Engineer you will collaborate with our Sales Executives in Pre and Post Sales Applications & Technical Support. You will need to have a deep understanding of HVAC compatibility as it is connected to controls and smart Thermostat integration.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide Sales Representatives and clients with Pre and Post technical support.

  • Respond efficiently and in a timely manner to inquiries from clients and Sales Executives as it pertains to HVAC and thermostat compatibility.

  • Act as a resource for Sales Representatives during the Sales Process to assist in solutioning.

  • Review and Clear Tech holds.

  • Provide and explain Wiring Diagrams to help Customer understand how to install our Thermostats for a more complex HVAC unit.

  • Confirm via wiring diagram or spec sheet that our Thermostats are compatible with the HVAC unit.

  • Ability to understand the sequence of operation for the HVAC Unit.

  • Assist in PMS (Property Management System) and BMS (Building Management System) integrations as well as Lighting and Door Lock integration.

  • Explain the full scope of work needed for a System Commissioning.

  • Review Installation Manuals with customers as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

  • 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Great organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Good customer services and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience of working in a multinational environment.
